Instead of paying to dispose of saline wastewater, our proprietary electrochemical process refines it into three high‑value outputs: RFNBO‑compliant hydrogen, sodium chlorate, and demineralised water. This means industries and utilities can cut disposal costs, meet EU sustainability mandates, and unlock new revenue streams. In short: we turn your wastewater into money. With modular, EU‑aligned technology and dual‑market products, Hydro Nexus is positioned to scale across desalination, industrial clusters, and hydrogen hubs—transforming one of the world’s biggest environmental liabilities into a profitable, circular economy solution.

PRECIPITATION PRODUCTS
Production of goods from salted waste water, including sodium chlorate and green hydrogen using renewable energy sources (RES).

DO YOU KNOW...
... that every year of all mines Upper Silesia Zagłębie Coal (GZW) about 118 million m3 of salt water is pumped out?
... that part of this water is large chloride and sulfate concentration is dropped down watercourses surface and is one of the main forms negative impacts on the environment?
... that over the last a quarter-century of this drop still holds on constant level and means that there is a salt problem mine waters will exist as well in the future?
The aim of the project is to manage and recycle saline waters from active and decommissioned coal mines, using electrolysis to produce valuable commodities such as sodium chlorate and green hydrogen.
Why hydrogen? Because it is an ideal energy storage for all kinds conversion (electrical and thermal) during which it combines with oxygen to form H20, that is, water.
Hydrogen is the fuel of the future.
